This year, I am working in the public schools as part of the New York City Teaching Fellowship. I am originally from a lovely green suburb of Ohio called Shaker Heights, and I am looking forward to bringing a liberal Mid-Western perspective to the local scene. I will visit little-known performance venues, hidden parks, restaurants, etc. and bring you honest critiques. I will also be writing political pieces about the state of New York City public schools, from an insiders' perspective. I am interested in hearing about your experiences and your opinions too! Please add your two cents whenever you have something to say. My hope is that Fast Forward will ignite the voices of young New Yorkers and unite the blogging community.
